The 1:28 Project is modeled directly after Colossians 1:28, “Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ”. When a person is saved the mission is not complete. In reality, it has only just begun. The new Christian has their entire life ahead of them as a new believer in the truth, and they need spiritual milk and later spiritual food to grow, just like a baby needs milk at first and then solid food later. The 1:28 Project is definitely not the answer to this, but the goal is for it to help.

The purpose of the 1:28 Project is to serve as an equipping tool for the Church. As I build this site over time I plan to post encouraging articles as well as helpful equipping resources, some to external resources and to some I have built. It’s my prayer that God uses this resource to deepen your relationship with Him by seeing how crazy the truth of the Gospel really is.
